Mr. Jantzen personally came to my home to repair a very old corbin lock, which is a Baldwin style mortise lock installed in a mahagony door. Other companies said to abandon the lock and install a new. He took his time and rebuilt the broken part and even made a custom part from his inventory of magic parts in the truck. It is as good as new. Thank you so much Mr. Jantzen.

I prefer to write positive reviews (and do so often ) but this needs to be shared. I needed to have a pin (threaded screw) which allowed an interior door to be locked, removed from one interior door to another. It literally took maybe 4 minutes. Jantzen is located no more than 4 -5 blocks from my home. The charge: $165.00 !!!!!!!! If ever there was a time to say, "No charge" , this was definitely it. I was prepared to pay something.....and would have added a hefty tip. The screw was mine and no tools were needed and was such that my 10 yr old grandson could have done this. I am happy to pay for services but this was beyond the pale and a black eye for customer service. Sometimes a gracious accommodation goes a long way for company praise and recommendation.

The best locksmith in town! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. They were able to make copies of my 1989 Land Rover Defender ignition key & fuel cap key. The keys were made in England and another locksmith said he couldn't do it. I have been coming here for years because of the great service and ability to always make key copies.

Key broke and needed a copy to get in. They did it so fast I stood there looking stupid. Definitely recommend over those Minute Key Maker machines

The key to my Grandmother clock's cabinet was lost, which meant I couldn't get in to wind it. The first company I called blew me off and never called. The second company set a kid who thought he could get it open with a hammer! Sent him packing! Because Jentzen is so busy, it took a while, but he showed when he said he would and left me with a new key! Jentzen is not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. I will never call anyone else!
