Nice park.jas a walking trial thru it..nice open area to play sports if you wanted to as well.
We enjoyed Cannon Park. Side note watch out for the no-see-umms they bite! Google it as I learned the hard way.
Nice park, friendly people and dogs. I was surprised that there was no fence around the dog area.
Small tree lined park. The dog loved it and I then learned it is the site if the old Charleston Museum. I'm now googling what happened to it.
As a full-time professional photographer in Charleston, I have the privilege of shooting in some amazing old historic locations! I recently had the honor of photographing the annual Lee & Associates "team photo" for their holiday card on the old historic steps at Cannon Park. The steps and columns are all that's left of the old Charleston Museum. Behind the steps and columns is a nice grassy park, that takes up the whole block. It's conveniently located near MUSC. And in the evenings you'll find lots of locals out walking and playing with their dogs here.
